* Rimless reglaze includes 1.6 index lenses and anti-reflective coating as standard.

Frames We Can't Reglaze

* Non-prescription, ready-bought sunglasses
* Safety glasses or Goggles
* Existing Ready Readers
* Frames that have existing damage (see below)

Frame Suitability

Unfortunately, even if your frames are not in any of the above categories, some frames are still not suitable. To make sure your frames are in an ideal condition to be reglazed, please check the following:

  • Check that there are no cracks in the rim of Full Rim and Semi-Rimless frames
  • Check that the frame is not discoloured or brittle
  • If the frame is semi-rimless, check all screws are in good shape
  • If the frame is rimless, check lenses aren't held by a permanent nut & bolt

Disclaimer

Please note that reglazing is carried out at the customers own risk.

This is due to the fact that putting new lenses into an existing frame is quite a stressful process on the frame itself.

Glasses frames often get brittle and flawed over time, so some frames may be at risk of breaking during the process of swapping the lenses over.
